March News
We've got some foals! Elise and La Mae both had stud colts! Elisa had hers in mid-March and La Mae foaled on March 26th - her due date!

May News:

April News:
- Two foals have been born! Xanadu and Tori both had little stud colts! Xanadu's colt was born on April 11th and will be named Teake. Tori's colt is Valant and he was born on April 19th. We plan on keeping them both. Check out these new youngsters on the Friesians page.
- England had her first Hunter/Jumper show at Windsong on Sunday, April 30th. She rode Hershey, Helen Miller's (grandma's) Quarter Horse. She did well; she placed in every one of her classes! She received one 1st, one 2nd, two 3rds, two 4ths and two 5ths.

Congratulations to John Bennett on his purchase of Durk! We can't wait to hook him up to the new carriage we purchased while in Europe. JB will have to settle for some saddle-time until it gets here. Who knows, maybe someday down the road Durk and Onyx (JB's other Friesian) will look good paired up! |

- One of our Fells is in foal and due for a May
2006 baby. Check out

Fells page - we just might have your next Fell baby
developing for you!
- Also, we just completed our whopping 125' x 225'
outdoor arena! Now, besides our indoor arena,
we have plenty of room outside for several horses to
work at once! Be sure to check back in the near
future for pictures.
- New links have been added to our Fun page - be sure to check out the West Michigan Friesian Horse Club and Black Earth Friesians sites!

We rode in the Great Circus Parade in Wisconsin. Here are some pictures: (click on the smaller ones to enlarge them)

- Dallamagne
was recently in a show at Mystic Marsh farm and placed
2nd in his first class and 6th in his second
class and got High Point Reserve Champion. He
was ridden by Ken Rheynard.
- Check out our new mares (and filly!) - we
recently added Heilda,
Hiske,
LaMae,
Livilla,
and
Lucia to our
quality broodmare band.
- Foal count to date: 4! Three fillies and one
stud colt! Here's the run-down:
- Romeo: Stud colt born May 5, out of Tori (for sale!) PICTURES!
- Sasha: Filly born April 25, out of Xanadu (sold already!)

- Andrys
cleans up again!!! He took first place in two
classes at a show at the Battle Creek Hunt Club!

S. fan Great Beckum's first dressage show at the Sean
McQuillan Eventing Clinic at the Battle Creek Hunt Club! Ridden by Ken Rheynard, Andrys placed
1st with a 70%!
- La Mae is
back! This little girl is such a great mare and we
have been lucky enough to buy her back.

We also just got back from visiting Harry Witteveen's Frieisan farm, Witteveen Friesians, up in Canada. This picture is of Helen, Harry, and TaLeekia.
